Event Overview
In spite of multinationals adopting a cautious approach towards global business expansion, Hong Kong office landlords continue to enjoy close-to-full occupancy and rising rents. Leasing activity in the Central CBD is being driven by solid demand from existing companies and new entrants from China, while in the sales market, larger enterprises, also predominantly from the mainland, have displayed robust demand for en bloc office buildings.
Marcos Chan, Head of Research, CBRE Hong Kong, Southern China & Taiwan will dive deep into the evolution of the Grade A office sector in Hong Kong from 2013-2016, and uncover major emerging trends. He will be joined by Sean Ellison, Senior Economist of RICS, and Frank Wong MRICS, Associate Director and Chief Analyst of Roma Appraisals in a discussion about how these past trends impact the outlook of the office sector.
